Quest Travel Program
All of Quest’s activities are not confined to the classroom. In addition to the activities that take place on many Fridays during the term, to several of the cultural attractions in and around New York City, Quest maintains an active Travel Program that features trips to destinations both here in the United States and many places abroad, as well.
Here in the States, we have been to Key West (Florida), Palm Springs (California) for the annual Palm Springs International Film Festival, to New Orleans, and some of the National Parks out West. And each summer several Questers spend any number of weeks at the Chautauqua Institution’s wonderful program in upstate New York.
Just to the north we have had several excursions to the annual Shaw Festival in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, and just to the south we spent a very memorable week in Cuba (definitely one of our highlights), another in Martinique, and a most interesting one Colombia.
Venturing a bit further afield our members have sailed on a few cruises in the Caribbean, and those who are a bit more adventurous spent a week in Iceland, and enjoyed several trips to Ireland and London, and going still further afield we had had groups travel to Malta, Sicily, and Croatia.
And just before the Covid-19 pandemic put a halt to virtually all travel, we were all ready (booked and paid) to spend ten days in the beautiful Puglia Region of Italy. We look forward to resurrecting that trip just as soon as we can.
We would not only love to have you join us, but also to suggest trips to any destinations that might be of special interest you. Contact any Travel Committee member
Bon Voyage!
